Farbetex employs around 110 highly skilled personnel with a higher than expected rate of postgraduates chemists or chemical engineers. Its labor force has vast experience in the processing of knitted fabric in all stages of dyeing and finishing procedures, and uses state-of-the art equipment for standardizing the production procedure. |

An integrated computer system developed within the company controls continuously the production procedure and permits intercom any communication and traceability of the products being processed.

INA
& PLEXI (Greek words for Yarn & Knitting) was
established in 1990 as an independent knitting company, although knitting was
already existing from the relocation of VASSARAS in the present plant,
around 1981. Since then it has expanded its operation in the production and
trade of raw fabric, dyed fabric and knitting sub contraction
projects.

In order to assure the
quality and repeatability of its fabrics, INA & PLEXI introduced an ongoing progress of controlling the fabrics in order to
avoid the faults of the garments originating from the fabric. |
It has also introduced a specialized laboratory in order to standardize the production procedure of the fabrics and ensure their repeatability. For this purpose specialized software was also acquired from the Cotton Technology International, UK, a software that can control the characteristics of the yarns and fabrics and ensure the outcome of the knitting and dyeing procedure.
As a latest development INA & PLEXI has initiated the exporting of dyed fabric in order to strengthen its position within the Greek fabric market but also begin its expansion in the Balkan area.

is our Bulgarian subsidiary who undertakes the sewing and packaging of our models.

Conveniently located in the town of Petrich, it was established in an area full of skilled personnel in sewing and finishing of garments. Being only a 2-hours drive from Vassaras' main plant, it combines quick communication via good quality roads as well as cost reduction of the most labor-intense part of garment making. |
